Village has 2 mayor candidates, 6 for council

Clemmons voters will pick a new mayor from two candidates on the ballot in November and decide three council seats from among six candidates. The filing period ended Friday.

Candidates for mayor include Paul David Reich of Middlebrook Drive and John Lawrence Wait of Armsby Road.

In Lewisville, incumbent Mayor Mike Horn will run unopposed.

For village council, the candidates are incumbents Mary Cameron, Lanny Farmer and Mike Rogers and challengers Scott Binkley, Pamela “PJ” Lofland and Michelle Barson.

Lewisville elects its full slate of board members every two years. The candidates for five seats are Fred W. Franklin, Marci Thompson Gallman, Robert P. Greene, Sandra J. Mock, Fran Seehausen, Harold “Ed” Smith and Jeffrey “Jeff” Zinger.
