American Idol season 10 winner Scotty McCreery will sign autographs Saturday, Dec. 14, at the newly renovated Lowes Foods in Clemmons.

McCreery will be signing autographs for the first 300 fans in line, and there will also be a drawing for a private meeting with the country music artist and native of Garner.

His new Christmas CD will be available for purchase. His appearance is part of a promotion for the Lowes Food renovation at 2501 Lewisville-Clemmons Road.

Due to limited time, no posed photography or videography of fans with Scotty will be permitted during the public autograph session.

Local fans can enter to win a private “meet and greet” with Scotty prior to the public event by going to the Lowes Foods Facebook page at Facebook.com/LowesFoodsStores.

The public autograph signing will be held from approximately 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.

Prior to achieving star status, McCreery grew up in Garner and worked at the local Lowes Foods. His debut studio album, Clear as Day, was released in October 2011 and was certified platinum in the United States. The album includes the top 20 country songs, “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble with Girls.”

His second album, Christmas with Scotty McCreery, was released in late 2012 and was certified gold. The album includes nine holiday classics and two new holiday songs. It debuted at No. 4 on Billboard 200 with sales of 41,000. A limited supply of the holiday album will be available for purchase at Lowes Foods and can be signed by McCreery during the autograph session at Lowes Foods. McCreery recently released a new CD titled See You Tonight which has topped the Billboard charts

The public autograph session will be limited to the first 300 individuals in line. Each person must have a photo i.d. in hand at the time of the autograph signing. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult who has a photo i.d.
