David Mack Deese, Jr. 

Nov. 13, 1942-August 25, 2014 

Mr. David Mack Deese, Jr. of Clemmons passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born November 13, 1942 in Mecklenburg County to the late David and Mary Ann Deese. Dave was the first baseman for his little league team, the Central Lions of Charlotte, that won the Babe Ruth World Series in Vancouver BC Canada in 1958. He loved baseball and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves. Dave attended Belmont Abbey and served in the US Air Force from 1961-1965. He was an avid fisherman, especially fond of Lake Norman and High Rock Lake. Dave worked in the real estate industry for over 40 years and was a highly regarded and well respected Real Estate Appraiser in the Triad area. Through his stories and jokes he touched the lives of many. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. Dave is survived by his wife, Kay; two daughters, Lynne Teeter and Tamer; son-on-law, David; four beloved grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Marshall and James. A private family celebration will be held at Lake Norman in the near future.
