His 8-foot hand-crafted star was too big to fit through the church doors, so Stu Claassen assembled it inside the Clemmons Moravian Church sanctuary last week and hoisted it to the top of the ceiling in time for the First Sunday in Advent. The 26-point star is a Moravian symbol that will remain in the sanctuary through the Epiphany on January 6, the observance of the arrival of the Wise Men at Bethlehem.
