Hattie Butner Stagecoach

Clemmons residents will get a chance to see and hear about the history of E. T. Clemmons “Hattie Butner” stagecoach the next two Saturday mornings, May 6th and May 13th from 8:30 a.m.-12 noon at open houses in the village hall.

The open houses take place at the same time as the Village of Clemmons Farmer’s Market.

Tom Branen, co-chairman of the original “Hattie Butner” restoration committee will be on hand to share some of his stories and history about the stagecoach. He will be assisted by other members of the Clemmons Historical Society.

The stagecoach open houses are sponsored by the Clemmons Historical Society in celebration of May as Forsyth County Historic Preservation Month.
