- Abby Hunter smacked a home run for the Southwest Blue in the first game of the World Series pool play.
Casual observers were in for a shock in the opening games of the World Series as girls demonstrated their merit. Abby Hunter, 12, launched a home run shot in the first game of pool play for the Southwest Blue team. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Hunter of Clemmons.
