Darin Needham new Lewisville Fire Chief

The Board of Directors of the Lewisville Fire Department have selected Darin K. Needham as the new Lewisville fire chief.
Needham currently serves as Battalion Chief with the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
Needham began his career in the fire service as a volunteer with the Old Richmond Fire Department and served with the Lewisville Fire Department from 1998-2008. In 1998, he joined the Winston-Salem Fire Department and progressed through the ranks as firefighter, fire engineer, fire captain, to his current position as battalion chief.
Needham holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and is currently enrolled in the Executive Fire Officer Program of the National Fire Academy, and holds numerous state credentials including Fire Officer III and Fire Instructor II.
Chief Needham assumed his duties as Fire Chief on September 11.
