Sarah Caudle Pegram

Mrs. Sarah Caudle Pegram, 88, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at her home. She was born in Iredell County on April 15, 1929 to the late George and Lacie Wallace Caudle. Mrs. Pegram retired from Western Electric with 36 years of service and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a person with a strong work ethic and instilled that same value in her children. She enjoyed having a flower garden and loved sharing the beauty of her garden with many people who would stop and visit. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death was her husband, Fred Hester Pegram, Sr. and a brother, Lloyd Cameron Caudle. Surviving are two daughters, Ann Loffredo (John) and Judy Jarvis (Danny); two sons, Fred Pegram, Jr. (Pam) and Ted Pegram (Penny); six grandchildren, Chris, Buffy, Jason, Savannah, Madison, and Haley; four great-grandchildren, Maggie, Lacie, Fischer, and Larson; sister-in-law, Dotty Caudle and three special nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. Daron Osborne and Rev. Don Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Boyer’s Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 PM prior to the service.
