The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) is investigating a purse snatching from a person in the parking lot of the River Ridge Shopping Center. On 01-30-18 at 3:24 pm, the FCSO responded to the parking lot of the River Ridge Shopping Center, located in the 1400 block of River Ridge Drive, Clemmons, NC, in reference the purse snatching. FCSO Deputies arrived on the scene and determined a white male suspect approached the adult victim and grabbed her purse from the grocery cart while the victim was putting items inside her vehicle. The suspect did not threaten or assault the victim during the incident. The suspect fled the scene in a gray in color Dodge Caravan after taking the purse.
