Bryn Allen Hobson and Ryan James Southard were married on April 21st at College Park Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. The bride’s uncle Rev. Shay Reyner of Durham officiated at the 5:00pm Ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Kent and Jeanne Hobson of Clemmons. She is a graduate of West Forsyth High School. She graduated from East Carolina University where she also received her Master’s Degree and was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority. She is employed by Renfro Corporation where she is a Marketing Manager for Fruit of the Loom. The groom is the son of Greg Southard of Clemmons and Nolo and Karen Martinez of Winston-Salem. He is a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School and graduated from East Carolina University. He is employed by Crow Shooting Supply. The matron of honor was Lindsay Hobson Kiger, the bride’s sister of Arlington, Virginia. The maid of honor was Katy Martin of Overland Park, Kansas. Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousins; Allison Vestal Laborde of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Christy Reyner Ferrell of Clemson, South Carolina, Kate Southard of Lexington, North Carolina the groom’s sister, Meaghan Dahmer of Winston-Salem, Erin Cobbler Dickens of Apex, North Carolina and Sydney Sauers of Raleigh, North Carolina. The bride was escorted by her father. She carried her maternal great-grandmother’s handkerchief and wore her maternal grandmother’s engagement ring. The groom’s father and Justin McGee of Winston-Salem, North Carolina were the best men. Groomsmen were the groom’s cousin Jack Henry Bullock of Austin, Texas, Daniel Myers of Winston-Salem, David Hill of Lexington, North Carolina, and Sam Brown, Patrick Spillman and Brad Reil of Mocksville, North Carolina. Program and guest register attendants were Emily Ward Compton of Advance, Emily Holub of Gibsonville, Katie Grace Kibler Cromer of Winston-Salem and Sterling Lineberry of East Bend. Music was provided by Teresa Hill, pianist, Bonnie Roberts, soloist and Gary Hastings, trumpet. Anne Tucker Vestal of Clemmons and Linda Tucker Reyner of Durham, the bride’s aunts hosted a bridemaids luncheon at 4th Street Filling Station. The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner at Camel City BBQ. The bride’s parents hosted a reception at Maple Chase Golf and Country Club. The couple will live in Winston-Salem.
