The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) has received funding from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to provide commuter transportation options during the Business 40 reconstruction project. Beginning late fall, PART will be starting a new route from Bermuda Run, Clemmons, and Lewisville into Winston-Salem to encourage more people to ride PART Express during the closure.

PART Route 28 West Forsyth Express will begin at the newly proposed Wake Forest Baptist Davie Medical Center Park & Ride Lot, the Med Plaza in Clemmons, and Clemmons River Ridge Road then travel to Downtown Winston-Salem, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. The new service will run Monday – Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with many schedule options for commuters to choose from.

PART is asking the residents of these communities to provide input on the proposed service between West Forsyth County and Winston-Salem by visiting www.partnc.org/Biz40.
