Doris Barfield Page

Delores “Doris” Dell Barfield Page, 89, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, at Trinity Elms Assisted Living in Clemmons, where she had resided since 2014. She was born in Tift County, Georgia, on March 29, 1929, to John Henry Barfield and Matilda Hinson Barfield. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, F. Roger Page, by her parents, and by all nine of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughter Carol Armstrong and her husband Ray of Rockville, Maryland; by Roger’s son Bobby Page and his wife Joan of Winston-Salem; by granddaughters Detra McHenry of Winston-Salem and Kently Page and her husband David Graham of Los Angeles, Calif.; by great-grandson Nathan McHenry; and by her devoted executive assistant Rose DeBruhl of Bermuda Run, whom she loved like a daughter. The family received friends from 10-11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel, 108 East Kinderton Way, Advance. Private interment followed at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family is grateful to everyone at Trinity Elms for the friendships, activities and outings that enriched her final years and for the staff’s loving and compassionate care. Robin Fulk Inman

Robin Fulk Inman, 51, passed away at home on Aug. 7, 2018. She was born on Oct. 17, 1966, in Charlotte to Brenda Warner Fulk (D’Onle) and Daniel K. Fulk. Robin is survived by her husband, Archie Inman; children, Caroline Inman, Daniel (Mary Grace) Brannon, Jennifer (Marty) Lowder, Jonathan Inman; grandchildren, Haley and Hunter; sister, Laura Fulk (Steve) Hunter; mother Brenda (Lee) D’Onle; father Daniel Fulk; bonus mom, Debra Fulk (Jerry) McKenzie and many nieces and nephews. Robin grew up in Charlotte and Mooresville. She graduated from South Iredell High School in 1985 and loved her role as cheerleader. She attended Appalachian State University with a strong desire to excel in business. Her career began as an administrative assistant with DK Fulk Associates, Inc. in Charlotte where she advanced to the position of office/production manager. Robin left her position in 2000 and co-founded Signs First in Mooresville, where she became heavily involved in the Mooresville/LKN business community and various charities. Robin’s children were her proudest achievements. Her memory will live on in their lives and accomplishments. A celebration of Robin’s life was held on Saturday, Sept. 1, at noon at Frank Vogler & Son’s Funeral Home. Visitation was at 11 a.m. prior to the service.

 

Kathryn June Massey

Kathryn June Massey, 87, died on Aug. 25, 2018. Surviving are husband David Massey; daughter Melissa Burton; son Carlston Taylor, Jr.; stepson David Massey and grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

 

Guy DeCamp, Jr.

CLEMMONS — Guy DeCamp, Jr., 89, passed away on Aug. 14, 2018, in Winston-Salem.

He was born on Dec. 7, 1928, in Le Grange to the late Guy and Commie Best DeCamp.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Essie Mae DeCamp; brothers, Robert, Carlton, and Edwin DeCamp; and sisters, Kathryn “Kitty” Fulcher and Rowena Moses. He leaves behind his son, Earl (Sharon) DeCamp; stepchildren, Susan (Wayne) Mumford, Diana Goolsby (John) Sykes, Wilma (David) Hare, William “Chip” (Sharol) Sumrell, and Warren Sumrell; grandchildren, Jeffrey DeCamp, Kevin (Ashlee) DeCamp, and Stephanie (Daniel) Adams; great grandson, Avery Wade Adams; and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

The family will hold a private graveside service in New Bern.
