Take your family out to breakfast with friends and neighbors at Clemmons Civic Club’s all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast this Saturday morning, Oct. 20, from 7–11 a.m.

The fall fund raising event will be held at the civic club building on Middlebrook Drive across from Vogler’s in Clemmons.

Tickets may be purchased from civic club members in advance or at the door. Prices are $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger.

“We will continue our tradition of honoring boys and girls involved in scouting,” said Garland Layton, club president. “All local scouts in uniform will be treated to a free pancake breakfast!”

Profits will be used to support two scholarships given to West Forsyth High School seniors annually. The scholarship fund began in 1983 to assist first-year Clemmons area college students with money for tuition, books, and fees.

The scholarships are named in memory of Felix Hege and Dennis Brewer, two civic club members who gave generously to start the fund which civic club members continue today.

The pancake breakfasts have become a major Clemmons social event where friends and families gather to eat and visit with one another.

Clemmons Civic Club hosts pancake breakfasts each spring and fall to benefit the fund.
