Middle school golf tournament

The Forsyth County Middle School Golf Tournament was held on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Maple Chase Golf and Country Club. This tournament featured the top two boys and top two girls from each middle school. Two of the top area players representing Clemmons Middle School were Gavin Hardy and Braden Gay. During season play, teams competed in a captain’s choice with players choosing the best ball. The county tournament was played differently however. Each player played using high school rules with each player being responsible for their own ball. Both players played exceptionally well with Gay shooting a 41 and Hardy shooting a 40.
