Halus named to UVM dean’s list

BURLINGTON, VT. — Jackson Halus, class of 2022, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester at the University of Vermont. Halus, of Lewisville, is majoring in music in the College of Arts and Sciences.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Wilburn named to Harding University dean’s list

SEARCY, ARK. — Ross Wilburn, a senior accounting and finance major from Clemmons, is among more than 1,200 Harding University students included on the dean’s list for grades achieved during the fall 2018 semester.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

Monteith named to dean’s list at UNC Wilmington

Ashley Nichole Monteith, of Clemmons, has been named to dean’s list at UNC Wilmington.
She has also been accepted to the Watson College of Education and is majoring in elementary education.

Mack participate in UA’s Cooperative Education Program

TUSCALOOSA, ALA. — University of Alabama student Griffin Mack of Clemmons will participate in UA’s Cooperative Education Program for spring 2019. Mack will be working at Adtran.

In the Cooperative Education Program, more than 230 students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment. This program offers work related to the academic major or career interests of each student.
