Camel City Jazz Valentine’s Day party

WINSTON-SALEM  — The Camel City Jazz Orchestra will host an evening of fine dining and dancing to the classic sounds of big band music on Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Millennium Center. Individuals and couples are welcome.

The third annual “Big Bands Are For Lovers” concert will feature vocalist Diana Tuffin and the orchestra performing classic swing-era favorites and new arrangements by members of the orchestra. Admission is $75 per person and includes passed hors d’oeuvres and a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a plated three-course dinner with table service. A vegetarian option is available. Suggested wine pairings and selections from a full bar will be available for purchase.

The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. Registrants can select a table for two, reserve a larger table for a group, or join a community table. Tickets must be purchased in advance; sales will end on Thursday, Feb. 7.
