Greensboro College dean’s list
Thomas Hayes Atwell, of Clemmons, has been named to Greensboro College’s dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester.
To qualify, a student must have a 3.5 GPA or better for the semester while having taken at least half of his/her course credit hours at Greensboro College’s main campus.
The Citadel honors
Charles W. Marsh, of Lewisville has been named to The Citadel’s dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester.
The dean’s list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose GPA is 3.20 or higher, with no grade of I (Incomplete) and no grade below C for work in a semester.
Troy V. Smith, of Lewisville, has been awarded gold stars for the fall semester. Gold stars are awarded to cadets and students at The Citadel who achieved a 3.7 GPA or higher. Cadets and students who achieve gold star recognition are also placed on The Citadel’s dean’s list.
University of Alabama honors
The following local student have received the following honors at The University of Alabama for the fall 2018 semester:

Students named to the dean’s list have a GPA of 3.5 or above and the president’s list students have a GPA of 4.0.
Olivet Nazarene University dean’s list
BOURBONNAIS, IL — Brandon Jaynes, of Lewisville, has been named to the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University for the fall 2018 semester.
