The Original Triad Home and Garden Show Feb. 15-17

WINSTON-SALEM — The Original Triad Home and Garden Show will be Feb. 15-17 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds’ Education Building and is sponsored by Bloomday Granite & Marble.
The Triad Home & Garden Show is the largest and longest running consumer show in this area with more than 100 vendors. Visitors can connect with professionals in the industry face-to-face, while learning about the best products and services for all of their home and garden projects. This is a chance to plan remodel and building projects, including outdoor living spaces and aging-in-place products and services.
This year’s Learning Stop will feature classes by Erik Anderson, Dreammaker Bath & Kitchen and Anderson Moore Builders. “Secrets to Remodeling your Bath and Kitchen” seminar will be 1 p.m. Saturday; “30 Trends in 30 Minutes (Kitchen & Bath)” seminar will be 3 p.m. on Saturday; and “How to Remodel Without Breaking the Bank” seminar will be 2 p.m. Sunday.
New this year is Kidzone by Kaleideum North, which will provide activities for children and their families. Learn all about Kaleideum and its mission of inspiring wonder, curiosity and lifelong learning in children and community through interactive play and discovery. Kaleideum is committed to developing exhibits and programming that fuse STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), literacy, and arts education into an integrated approach to learning.
Tickets to the home and garden show are $8 at the door. Parking is free, located at Gate 5 on Deacon Boulevard, and is handicapped accessible. The grand prize is a Husqvarna zero turn lawn mower.
Event hours: Friday, 2-8 p.m., including Food Truck Friday “Dinner and a Show!”, Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds from Triad Home and Garden Show will be given to Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County, helping them to provide safe, comfortable, affordable homes.
