The Seniors Wonderful World of Golf Tour presented its annual Give Back campaign and winter breakfast last week at the Clemmons First Baptist Church Family Life Center. A large crowd enjoyed breakfast provided by Mrs. Pumpkin’s, and LPGA professional Laura Diaz was guest speaker. The 2018 charitable gifts of $2,000 were presented to the Clemmons Food Pantry, the Nicholas Doub Scholarship Fund and the Davidson County Crisis Control Ministry.

Plans have been made by the SWWG leadership for another year as the organization begins its tenth season for another “Race for the Seniors Cup.”
The Seniors Wonderful World of Golf Tour is a non-profit organization designed to provide fun at playing friendly competitive golf while developing acquaintances into lasting friendships. It is actively involved at giving back to the surrounding communities through charitable contributions on an annual basis. The organization is celebrating its tenth year of operation with a membership of 170 golfers over the age of 55. Membership is primarily through recommendations from current membership.
