Lineup announced for the 2019 Classic Country Concert Series at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds

The Winston-Salem Fairgrounds will host Lee Greenwood, Lonestar, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan and The Gatlin Brothers for the 2019 Classic Country Concert Series. The concerts will be held in the Annex Theatre at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds.
Lee Greenwood is the first act to be announced by the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds as part of the 2019 Classic Country Concert Series. Greenwood will perform on May 24 at 7:30 p.m. Greenwood has won numerous industry awards including, Male Vocalist of the year for the Academy of Country Music, two Male Vocalist of the Year awards from the CMA and a Grammy for Top Male Vocal Performance.
Lonestar will be the second act to be a part of the series. Lonestar will perform on June 22 at 8 p.m. For more than 20 years, Lonestar has released several platinum-selling albums and ten No. 1 singles, earned ACM and CMA awards and inspired rave reviews as far away as London, where The Guardian proclaimed them exemplars of “country’s greatest strength: picture-painting, story-based, tear-your-heart-out lyrics that are the most direct and lucid in popular music.”
Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan are the third acts of the series. Tillis and Morgan will perform July 13 at 7 p.m. Some of Pam’s most memorable award moments are being a 3-time CMA award winner. Pam is also proud to be a 9-time Academy of CMA nominee, a 2-time Grammy award winner and 6-time Grammy nominee. Most recently, Pam has celebrated an IBMA award win for Recorded Event of the Year. Lorrie Morgan has won multiple CMA awards, as well as platinum awards for 4 albums.
The Gatlin Brothers are the final act of the 2019 Classic Country Concert Series. The Gatlin Brothers will perform Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. The Gatlin Brothers are a Grammy Award-winning trio who have dazzled audiences for more than 60 years with a lifetime of noteworthy achievements, including a Grammy, 3 ACM awards, Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year.
Tickets for the Classic Country Series will go on sale Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m., with tickets for individual show tickets starting at $20 and a 4 show bundle with savings up to 50 percent.
After the success of the 2018 Classic Country Series the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds is teaming up once again with 98.1 WBRF Classic Country to bring the whole series to Winston-Salem. Nearly 8,000 guests enjoyed the 2018 Classic Country Concert Series at the Annex.
