As fourth quarter begins, most students are looking forward to the summer and, for seniors, their next steps in education. In order to make the most of that free time, students should start looking for job opportunities so they have a little extra cash to get them through the school year. Here are a few locations that are looking for a little extra help this summer.

Tanglewood Park is looking to hire part-time, seasonal workers. The positions available include: lake and pool attendants, golf grill attendants, pool concessions attendants, golf attendants and pool maintenance techs. The City of Winston-Salem is looking to hire lifeguards for this summer. Applicants must be 16 years old by May 31 to qualify for the position. Guards are paid $10 per hour and can be certified through the Red Cross of YMCA. Carolina Pool Management company is also looking to hire lifeguards along with swim instructors, pool managers and gate attendants. Contact Mrs. Hayes in the main office for more information on both opportunities.

Immanuel Baptist Daycare is looking to hire a high school student who would be able to work from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. If interested in the position, stop by the church at 1505 Lewisville-Clemmons Road in Clemmons and ask for an application.

CORE Lentz Moving Services is looking to hire part-time movers for this summer to work in the Household Goods Moving and Storage business. Applicants must be 18 years old and should apply in person 6300 Clementine Drive in Clemmons.   

The YMCA is looking to hire professional role models to work in their Summer Exploration Academy and Day Camp. Available positions include: summer day camp counselors, specialty camp counselors for sports and preschool, summer camp site supervisors and summer camp assistant.
