Belmont University announces spring semester dean’s list
NASHVILLE — The following students achieved the dean’s list at Belmont University for the spring semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a GPA of 3.5 or higher with no grade below a C.

Local students make dean’s list at NC State
The following students from Clemmons and Lewisville made the fall 2018 semester dean’s list at N.C. State University:

Danner graduates from basic training
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Eric N. Danner graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Danner is the son of Eric Danner of Lexington and Mary Danner of Clemmons.
He is a 2018 graduate of North Davidson High School, Lexington.
