The new Clemmemories Memorabilia Cabinet will display items from Clemmons High School (1926-1956) and Clemmons Elementary (1956-1981).

Plans are for the cabinet to be installed in late summer in Historic Broyhill (the former Clemmons School building). An additional $4,000 is needed to fully fund this project. Donations are being accepted.

The cabinet will display items from the years this building served as the local high school and elementary school. A list of the items to be displayed includes:

• Yearbooks
• Early diplomas
• Letter sweaters
• Class rings
• Principal Frank Morgan’s personal grade book
• Prom dress from the 1950s era
• Old photos of activities
• Historical society exhibit

Former students have also agreed to donate many other items. This will be a way for future generations to gain a glimpse into the years students spent at the schools. The estimated cost to build the cabinet is $13,000. All donations will be acknowledged by the committee.
