West Forsyth summer running camp

West Forsyth High School will be hosting a summer running camp for rising sixth through eighth graders.

The camp is a group distance-running program provided by the West Forsyth championship cross country coaching staff and its athletes geared towards beginning and young runners. The camp is for girls and boys, and experience is not required. All abilities are welcome.

The program will introduce young runners to distance training with a focus on enjoyment of proper training, form and stretching.
The camp will be at West Forsyth High School’s campus and trails. The program is 6-7:30 p.m. June 25,27 and July 2,9,11,16,18 and 30.
The cost is $70. Make checks payable to WFABC. Proceeds benefit West Forsyth cross country program. Turn in check along with release form prior to June 24 at West Forsyth front office or mail to West Forsyth

Athletes should wear proper running apparel, running shoes (not spikes), a running watch (GPS not required) water bottle (cooler of ice water will be provided for bottle fill up).
