Village Manager Scott Buffkin has announced the hiring of Nasser Rahimzadeh as the new planning and community development director for Clemmons.
Rahimzadeh replaces Megan Ledbetter, who served as the Village’s planner for 12 years before resigning her position in May.
Buffkin said he was excited to bring Rahimzadeh to the staff after conducting a regional search.
“He brings a wealth of planning and development knowledge and experience,” Buffkin said. “He will be a great asset for the Village.”
Rahimzadeh will join the Clemmons staff in July, bringing nearly 10 years of experience in planning, zoning enforcement and development review. He has served as senior planner for the City of Albemarle since 2014 and previously as deputy director of zoning and inspections for the City of Winchester, Virginia.
