Parks Decorative brings more than 50 years of experience to Winston-Salem

Parks Decorative Hardware and Plumbing, LLC will celebrate the grand opening of its new showroom on from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Oct. 24 at 130 Stratford Ct. in Winston-Salem. The 3,500-square-foot showroom in Winston-Salem provides the consumer with options of brands and styles for all of their building and remodeling needs. This is the first decorative hardware showroom in Winston-Salem since 1997.

Owner John Parks and Salesman Emery Cornatzer bring more than 50 years of experience in the industry. Parks has worked in the local decorative hardware and plumbing industry for more than 30 years. Cornatzer is working on his 50th year in the industry. He had previously worked at Pleasants Hardware in downtown Winston-Salem. They work with architects, builders, designers and consumers in finding the perfect style that represents the personality of their home or business.

The event is open to the public. There will be door prizes, giveaways, food and manufacturers on site to answer questions and show the newest products. The Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce will be on site for a ribbon-cutting from 5-7 p.m.

“We are so excited to share our new space with the public,” Parks said. “It is not just a showroom, but a place where we want you to feel comfortable to come in and spend time picking out the right needs for your project.”

Parks Decorative Hardware and Plumbing offers more than 100 name brands of decorative hardware and plumbing fixtures. The range of products is from basic builders’ hardware, products that are made in the USA to high quality European imports. Parks also specializes in restoration hardware. The showroom is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and other hours by appointment.
