Rev. Kaylee Godfrey

The Clemmons Clergy Association is pleased to invite everyone to the annual Thanksgiving worship service, held the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This year’s service will be at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24. Clemmons churches host the service on a rotating basis and this year the host is Clemmons Presbyterian Church, located at 3930 Clemmons Road in Clemmons.

Worshippers are invited to bring canned goods or cash or check donations to share with the Clemmons Food Pantry. The pantry was established in 2004 and serves more than 700 local families each month. Last year, approximately 320,000 pounds of food was distributed to needy families from the pantry.

This year’s preacher will be Rev. Kaylee Godfrey, minister of youth and outreach at Clemmons First Baptist Church.

At this year’s Thanksgiving  service, the community is invited to share in three important traits of our community — community fellowship, sharing in community worship across denominational lines, and sharing with those in need.
