Piedmont Federal Savings Bank hires Allen Suttle to launch business banking

WINSTON-SALEM — Piedmont Federal Savings Bank has announced that Allen E. Suttle has joined the bank as senior vice president, director of business banking. Suttle will be responsible for establishing and leading Piedmont Federal’s comprehensive business services, which include business lending and treasury products.

“Our customers have asked us to offer business banking. They value our local decision-making, personal customer service and our commitment to remaining here in this community. Allen is very connected to the local area and brings valuable experience in business lending, cash management and relationship banking” stated David Barksdale, CEO of Piedmont Federal.  “He will be a huge asset in launching our business banking platform.”

Suttle has an extensive background in commercial lending, underwriting and deposit services. His roles have included commercial portfolio development and management, new product implementation and loan risk management. Most recently he served as the senior vice president, market executive for a community bank here in the Triad.
