Foushee named November Clemmons Rotary Student of the Month
Greg Foushee was recognized on Nov. 20 as the Rotary Club of Clemmons “Student-of-the-Month” for November.
According to West Forsyth High school: “Greg Foushee is known by his teachers as being very responsible, kind, and always puts forth great effort. He takes initiative and this shines through in his athletic, academic and musical pursuits. Our jazz band has traveled this year to perform, and Greg was one of the players honored.”
Foushee has been an outstanding academic achiever during his high school career achieving Honor Roll all four years as well as a Crosby Scholar.
In addition to his academic accomplishments at West Forsyth, he has been active in: Varsity football player for three years; Titan Achiever; First Chair All County Honors Band all four years; First Chair All District Honors Band, ninth- 11th grades; Second Chair All State Honors Band, 10th and 11th grades; First Chair Western Region Jazz Honor Band, 11th grade.
Foushee will be attending college this fall and hopes to study music and continue his football career.
