The Titans enjoyed a short, two-day week in observance of Thanksgiving. This week, Titans will eat up some turkey, spend time with family and friends, and for some, even go on college tours. Let’s see what’s going on at West Forsyth.

Last Saturday, the drama department put on its last showing of a 1920s version of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Congratulations to the faculty, actors, and tech crew for creating a successful show.

On Monday, West hosted Military Career Day, giving interested students an opportunity to learn about the many military jobs available after high school.

On Friday, the varsity football team will take on Charlotte’s Zebulon B. Vance High School at home. After defeating the Reagan Raiders last week, the Titans hope to continue into the playoffs. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. and tickets will be $8. Come out and support the Titans as they defend the village.

Happy Thanksgiving, and as always, go Titans!
