Santa visits Brenner Children’s Hospital

12-year-old Emma Thornton, of Caswell County, holds a photo of her visiting with Santa seven years ago while she was at Brenner Children’s Hospital battling cancer. Emma has now been in remission for four-and-a-half years.
7-month-old Leo Marquez Sanchez, from Rockingham County, visits with Santa at Brenner Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Santa comes to Brenner Children’s every year to help cheer up the kids and their families who are in the hospital during the holiday season.

Santa Claus took some time away from his workshop to visit patients at Brenner Children’s Hospital last week.
The young patients were able to share their Christmas wishes, make festive holiday crafts and have their pictures taken with Santa.
Each child also received a stuffed animal.
Santa comes to Brenner Children’s every year to help cheer up the kids and their families who are in the hospital during the holiday season.
