After three long weeks, the Titans will enjoy their last day of school before Winter Break on Friday. School will be back in session on Monday, Jan. 6. With college decisions rolling in and it slowly becoming the most festive time of the year, the Titans have a lot to look forward to this winter break. Many students and faculty are looking for fun right here in Clemmons.

“(I’m excited for the) Tanglewood Festival of Lights and the new year,” senior Grace Bell said.

While some are staying local and catching up on some much needed sleep, others are going far and wide for the holidays.

“(I’m looking forward to) going to Alaska with my family,” senior Breydan Adams said.

Let’s see what else the Titans have been up to.

Last Friday, the Titans got a couple extra hours of sleep thanks to a two-hour delay that was called due to the possibility of unsafe wintry weather. As morning temperatures drop in the low 30s, it is officially two-hour delay and cancellation season.

On Thursday, Jan. 9, West will be hosting an “Explore the Possibilities” event for prospective rising freshmen and their families to get to know the amazing academic, athletic and extracurricular opportunities that West has to offer. This session will take place in the Anderson Performing Arts Center (APAC) and will begin at 6 pm.

From the Titan family to yours, have a safe and wonderful winter break, and as always, go Titans!
