School is back in session and West Forsyth has come back to life after a relaxing 16-day winter break. With exams looming in the coming weeks, the Titans have hit the ground running this week. Let’s see what the Titans are up to.
Today, West will be hosting an “Explore the Possibilities” event for all rising freshman and their families interested in attending West Forsyth. Representatives of West’s many opportunities in academics, athletics, and extracurriculars will be there to answer any possible questions. This event will be held in the Anderson Performing Arts Center (APAC) and will begin at 6 p.m. Auditions for the drama department’s spring musical “Brigadoon” are being held this week. Interested students should contact Mrs. Hubbard in the APAC.
On Friday, the boys and girls varsity basketball teams will be taking on the Davie County War Eagles at Davie. Come out and support the Titans at 7:30 p.m.
Juniors planning to attend a four-year college should consider applying for the Coolidge Scholarship inspired by President Calvin Coolidge. The program offers a full-ride to academically competitive students. Students interested in applying for the Coolidge Scholarship should apply online by Thursday, Jan. 16.
Go Titans!
