With exams behind, the Titans are jumping head first into second semester. For senior Titans, the coming of second semester marks the beginning of the end of their high school careers. Seniors, remember that Friday is Senior Day. Be sure to bring all cap and gown forms and picture forms. Let’s see what else the Titans are up to.
The boys and girls varsity basketball teams will take on East Forsyth High School on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the village. Tickets are $7, come out and support your Titans!
All spring athletes should be sure to have their paperwork submitted for spring sports tryouts by Friday at noon. Athletes should also sign up with their respective coaches tomorrow. Tryouts will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 12, for sports including track and field, boys tennis, girls lacrosse, and more.
The Student Government Association (SGA) is selling stems of roses to be given out during first period on Friday, Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day. If you’d like to give that special someone a beautiful rose this Valentine’s Day, they will be on sale for $1 each on Monday, Feb. 10, and Tuesday, Feb. 11, during all lunches. Students not on campus during lunch can make their purchases with Mrs. Gilmore in room 1022.
The Girls Service Club is hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Wednesday, Feb. 26. If you are interested in donating please contact Kathy Johnson at kpj@wsfcs.k12.nc.us to set up a donation time for this great cause.
Go Titans!
