On Sunday, Jan. 19, the Knights of Columbus men’s club of Holy Family Catholic Church in Clemmons sponsored the annual Clemmons Life Chain to show its support for the rights of the unborn. The event marked the 47th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision which legalized abortion in America.
Twenty area pro-lifers enjoyed a sunny and seasonally warm day filling the sidewalk and displaying their signs from the Clemmons Post Office to the Clemmons Library. They were greeted by a countless number of “thumbs up” and supportive horns from passing motorists.
