With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, the Student Government Association (SGA) will be selling stems of roses for $1 each. Want to send that special someone a beautiful rose? They will be taking orders during all lunches on Monday, Feb. 10, and Tuesday, Feb. 11. Roses will be delivered Friday, Feb. 14, during first period.

The Girls Service Club is sponsoring a blood drive on Wednesday, Feb. 26. All donations will benefit the American Red Cross for life-saving procedures. If you are interested in donating please contact Kathy Johnson at kpj@wsfcs.k12.nc.us .

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Drama Department will be hosting its annual Titan Talent Show and Coffee House for the enjoyment of all. This performance will feature West’s incredibly talented students and even some faculty who will be performing a range of talents. Be sure to check out this showstopping production!

On Saturday, March. 14, West will be giving the SAT. Students taking this exam should be sure to register online and get the needed materials including a registration ticket, photo ID, and a calculator. Good luck to our Titan test-takers!

Go Titans!
