BERMUDA RUN — Wake Forest Baptist Health — Davie Medical Center has been recognized as one of the top 22 patient-recommended hospitals in the United States by Becker’s Hospital Review, a health care trade publication, based on data from The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
This recognition is based on Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores, a survey instrument and data collection methodology for measuring patients’ perceptions of their hospital experience. This list was specifically connected to a survey question answered by the respondent as “Yes, I would definitely recommend this hospital.”
Inclusion in this exclusive national list of hospitals is in tandem with other recent patient experience awards that Davie Medical Center has received.
“We take pride in caring for our surrounding communities and families. When leaders throughout our health system and our community ask what our secret is, I tell them it is the people on this impressive team,” said Chad Brown, president of Davie Medical Center. “This recognition shows that each member of our care team has an inherent drive for caring for our patients with compassion and quality.”
