The Titans enjoyed an early release day on Wednesday during this busy week at West Forsyth. Students use the extra time they get from early releases in a variety of ways including to get ahead on homework, get lunch with friends, or to just simply relax. Let’s see what else the Titans are up to this week.

On Tuesday, all juniors are required to take the ACT which will take place at West. Juniors should be sure to bring No. 2 pencils, a calculator and a small snack and arrive at their testing center by 8:55 a.m. Students not taking this test will have an extended first period B-day class. Good luck to all these test-takers!

The Girls Service Club is sponsoring a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Wednesday. All donations will benefit those in need. To schedule a time to give, see a Girls Service Club representative or contact Kathy Johnson at kpj@wsfcs.k12.nc.us .

Next Thursday, West will be hosting its annual International Banquet. This event showcases the many cultures represented at West Forsyth in a celebration of food and fashion. If you are interested in participating, see Dr. Pinochet in room 2101.

Male and female athletes interested in sand volleyball this spring should pick up their tryouts wristbands from the Simpson Gym front lobby today from 8-8:55 a.m. Good luck to all our Titan sand volleyballers.

Go Titans!
