Spring is here and to start off the season, the Celtic Sessions Trio will be doing a concert to benefit the Clemmons Food Pantry in the Curlin Center at Holy Family Catholic Church on Kinnamon road in Clemmons. The concert will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 20, in the Curlin Center. Tickets are $20 and half of the proceeds will go to the pantry. Tickets are available through eventbrite.com and you can also contact ellentommasi@yahoo.com
The Celtic Sessions Trio is a local three-piece band with unique performances of ancient folk music, storytelling and songwriting. Band members Naomi Orr, Julian Charles and RG Absher use their talents to bring a creative blend of woodwind and strings to their Celtic music.
The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton guild is sponsoring this event. This event will help those in our community who are in need.
The Clemmons Food Pantry was founded in 2004 and serves more than 800 families per month providing groceries. There will be a representative present to tell the audience about the pantry and volunteer opportunities. The Clemmons Food Pantry is one of the largest food pantries in our region.
