With the month of March underway, the Titans are one month closer to ending the 2019-2020 school year. With winter sports making way for spring athletics, Titan athletes in everything from boy’s tennis to girl’s lacrosse are ramping up for great seasons. Let’s see what else the Titans are up to.

On Thursday, Mar. 12, West will be holding its annual career fair. All students freshman through senior year are encouraged to stop by to get important information from businesses, volunteer organizations and military branches looking for dedicated and hard-working Titans. They are seeking everything from full-time, part-time workers, and even volunteers. This event will last from noon-2 p.m. in the old gym.

On Saturday, Mar. 14, the SAT will be given at West. Students signed up for this exam should remember to bring their admission ticket, a photo ID, No. 2 pencils, and a calculator. Students are also encouraged but not required to bring a small snack for the breaks. Remember to get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast before taking the test.

With prom less than a month away, West’s Prom Closet is open to all students looking for new and gently used dresses, suits, accessories, and more. All items are sold for under $50. The Prom Closet will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after school in room 1022 and is open starting this week. Be sure to check it out and bring either cash or a check made out to West Forsyth High School.

Go Titans!
