Things are warming up, literally, at West Forsyth. With spring weather creeping in, the Titans are enjoying the warmth on West’s beautiful outdoor campus. Also enjoying the weather is West’s spring sports including track and field, softball, boys tennis, girls soccer, and more. Let’s see what else the Titans are up to this week.
The boys and girls varsity lacrosse teams will take on East Forsyth High School on Friday. The boys will play at East Forsyth in Kernersville while the girls will be defending the village at home. Both of these games will begin at 7 p.m., come out and support your Titan lacrosse players
Today, West is holding its annual career fair in the 600 building Old Gym from noon-2 p.m. Booths will be set up for businesses, volunteer organizations, military branches, and even some colleges and universities looking for dedicated Titans freshman through seniors. All students are encouraged to talk to these representatives during their third period lunchtime.
On Saturday, West will be hosting the SAT. All students registered for this exam should bring their admission ticket, photo ID, and an approved calculator. Also recommended are No. 2 pencils and a small snack for the breaks. Remember to get a good night’s rest and a good breakfast before taking this exam. Good luck test-takers!
Students who have received merit awards or college scholarships should report them to Student Services no later than Monday, May 11. Many of these awards will be acknowledged at Awards Day on Wednesday, May 20, to recognize all the hard work and talent at West Forsyth.
Go Titans!
