The Village of Clemmons is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy community. This includes residents as well as village employees.
The village has been monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and is implementing guidelines and recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the state and Forsyth County for preemptive measures to mitigate the spread of the virus.
Effective immediately through April 15, all public programs and events hosted by the Village of Clemmons are postponed.
Residents are encouraged to avoid visiting village facilities, instead using other methods of handling village business, such as by phone, email, postal mail, etc. Concern for the community and employees is the village’s priority. Several residential concerns can also be reported online.
Trash and recycling pickup will remain on schedule at this time. The annual bulk pick-up is still on schedule as well.
The response to the COVID-19 outbreak may change quickly depending on the virus’ spread.
Village authorities will rely on guidance from the CDC, the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, and the Forsyth County Health Department to make decisions that are in the best interest of employees and the public.
The Village of Clemmons encourages residents to visit the state website at ncdhhs.gov/coronavirus or call the hotline 866-462-3821 for the most up-to-date information on the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
