Firefighter Appreciation Day may look a little different this year, but the Village of Clemmons knew it was important to show these frontline heroes just how much they are appreciated — now more than ever.

The event will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, at Mama Mia Italian Ice located at 3560 Suite B Clemmons Road. Mama Mia Italian Ice will be taking curbside orders — preorders can be placed by calling or texting 336-331-2945.  For every $50 in sales on May 5, the business owners Nat and Kathy Oliveri will cater Italian Ice to a local fire department.

In addition, Mama Mia Italian Ice will also be collecting cards, letters, and drawings of appreciation curbside on May 5 to deliver to the fire departments.

Mama Mia Italian Ice offers a wide variety of Italian Ice flavors in single serve, pints, and quarts; NY bagels; knishes, Italian bread, and more.
