Girl Scout equestrian center offering summer programming

COLFAX — Do you know a girl who loves horses and is looking for an opportunity to be outdoors and grow that love this summer? Circle C Equestrian Center in Sophia is offering several types of horse-related summer programs, including individual lessons, small group sessions and more.
Circle C is owned and operated by Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont and offers an indoor arena, miles of trails and 19 horses to teach riders of all ages, abilities and ambitions.

This summer’s programming includes weekly small group lessons where students can learn to ride or develop further skills. Instructors teach balanced and center seat in English saddles, as well recreational riding, dressage, jumping, horseback archery and therapeutic riding. Circle C will also be conducting three-week riding lessons for all ages that is perfect for first-time riders, as well as horseback archery courses, horse riding badge workshops and small group troop programs for 10 people or less.
