Three charged after more than 40 vehicle break-ins

FORSYTH COUNTY — Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals responsible for more than 40 automobile break-ins in the Lewisville area.

With the assistance of video from a homeowner’s security system, FCSO K9 Bruno, and WSPD K9 Copper, deputies were able to track and take into custody three individuals who were breaking into automobiles in the Lewisville neighborhoods of Brookway West and Wellesley Place. So far, more than 40 victims have been identified.

Diamante Eddie Rockwell, 21, of Winston-Salem, has been arrested and charged initially with possession of firearm by felon; larceny of a firearm; two counts of breaking or entering a motor vehicle; and two counts of attempted breaking or entering a motor vehicle. More charges have been added. Rockwell is currently in the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center under a $110,000 bond and an initial court date of July 9.

More charges have been added. Tucker is currently in the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center with no bond and an initial court date of July 9.

Isaiah Elonzo Hawkins, 20, of Winston-Salem, has been arrested and charged with larceny of a firearm; two counts of breaking or entering a motor vehicle; and two counts of attempted breaking or entering a motor vehicle. More charges have been added. Hawkins is currently in the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center with no bond and an initial court date of July 9.
