On July 20, Village of Clemmons Stormwater Department, in collaboration with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s office and Clemmons Fire Department, will provide an opportunity to dispose of unused or expired medicine. Unused prescription medications in homes can create a safety concern due to being accidentally ingested, stolen, misused or abused.

Medicines should never be flushed or poured down the drain. This action will lead to polluted waterways impacting aquatic species, and contaminating our food and water supplies.

The Medicine Drop will be held from 9 a.m.-noon on Monday, July 20, at the Clemmons Fire Department, 5931 James Street.

Only pills can be accepted. Liquids, needles, and inhalants will not be accepted. This is for households only.

Please remain in your vehicle. This will be a drive-thru service.
