COVID-19 daily briefing — Aug. 19
Updated weekdays by 12:30 p.m.
There are 19 new cases and two deaths since yesterday’s report. There have been 5,620 laboratory-confirmed cases and 62 deaths in Forsyth County. All cases reported by the Forsyth County Department of Public Health are Forsyth County residents. Of the 5,601, 4,902 are presumed recovered. The case count is subject to change throughout the day but will only be reported once per day in the daily briefing.
