There are 133 new cases and five deaths reported today. Over the holiday weekend, there were 304 new cases reported on Thursday, 233 new cases on Friday, 181 on Saturday, and 117 on Sunday. There was one death reported over the holiday weekend. There have been 19,947 laboratory-confirmed cases and 221 deaths in Forsyth County. All cases reported by the Forsyth County Department of Public Health are Forsyth County residents. Of the 19,947, 16,923 are presumed recovered. The case count is subject to change throughout the day but will only be reported once per day in the daily briefing.
The public health director will provide a detailed briefing at 2 p.m. at the beginning of the next board of county commissioners meeting, which will be conducted remotely. The public can listen to and watch the meeting on WSTV-13 or go to https://www.cityofws.org/493/WSTV-13

• Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Winston-Salem Fairgrounds (Enter Gate 9), 421 27th St NW, from noon-3 p.m.
• Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Smith Reynolds Airport (lower lot), 3801 N. Liberty St., from noon-3 p.m.
• Thursday, Dec. 31 , at EMS Triangle Station, 3260 Kernersville Road, from noon-3 p.m.
• Saturday, Jan. 2, at Winston-Salem Fairgrounds (Enter Gate 9), 421 27th St. NW, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
