A Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce program, Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons 2021 promises to be another great year — full of exciting, engaging learning opportunities.
The first day of the program was spent reviewing the results of the CORE assessment, a tool designed to help understand, honor, and facilitate the various learning and communication styles. Led by Grace McParland and Kathy Hartung — this workshop has proven to be valuable as the program commences.
Additional workshops included “How to Network” (presented by Taryn Jerez of One Crafty Miss), “How to be a Small Group” (presented by John Bost), and “Gaining Advantage Through Losing Control: Empowering People” (presented by Mike Nuckolls).
Day one content also included small group project presentations. The Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons 2021 class has been assigned to teams to work on projects for Educator Warehouse, N.C. Fusion, and even Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons itself.
It was a power-packed day of virtual learning and a great first day of this six-month series. Stay tuned to learn more about the progress for Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons. And be sure to “like” Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons on Facebook.

Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons is a program designed for those who work, live, or have a vested interest in the success of the Town of Lewisville or Village of Clemmons.
Participants learn about leadership skills, how the respective governments operate, information about economic development in the communities, social and human services matters, as well as real estate development. And they also learn about the health and education priorities and challenges in the communities. Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons participants work on small group projects in order to further develop their leadership skills.
