RALEIGH — Rep. Donny Lambeth (R-Forsyth), senior chair of House Appropriations, has announced that Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools will receive an additional $68 million from the COVID Bill approved recently by both the North Carolina House and Senate.

“These funds are vitally important to keeping our students safe during this pandemic. I was pleased to support our students and staff with these additional funds during this very difficult time,” he said.

This additional funding brings the total received by the school district since July 2020 to $85 million.
